With nearly two decades of specialist practice, Dr. Rishad A.S. is known for complex medical conditions, particularly kidney disease, hypertension, diabetes and critical care medicine. His approach combines advanced medical knowledge with compassionate, patient-centred care, including dialysis, sepsis management and multidisciplinary planning. He also contributes through medical education, clinical governance and occupational health certification. Areas of expertise: nephrology and renal medicine (CKD, AKI and dialysis); internal medicine (hypertension, diabetes, endocrine and cardiovascular disorders); critical care and acute medicine; preventive and long-term care. Since 2006 he has focused on evidence-based care, teaching, mentorship and healthcare leadership. Memberships: Kenya Medical Association (KMA), Kenya Physician Medical Association, International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and Kenya Renal Association.

Dr. Maalim is a consultant physician with over a decade of experience in internal medicine and nephrology. His training spans Kenya, the UK and Egypt, with ongoing specialization in kidney transplantation and advanced renal therapies. His expertise covers diabetes, hypertension, infectious and autoimmune diseases, chronic kidney disease, dialysis and post-transplant care, with interests in critical care nephrology, interventional nephrology and cardiometabolic health. He is fluent in English, Kiswahili, Somali and basic Arabic.
